To celebrate and continue his extraordinary legacy, Byne alumni Britton and Megan (Parker) Powell have established the Bobby Joiner Scholarship.
This scholarship is a reflection of Coach Joiner’s passion for education and his heart for empowering young athletes. It provides financial assistance to families in our community, ensuring that deserving students can access the life-changing benefits of a Christian school education. Through this initiative, future athletes at Byne Christian School will have the opportunity to grow academically, spiritually, and athletically—just as Coach Joiner always envisioned.

A coach’s role extends far beyond drawing up plays and calling the shots. For so many of us, Coach Bobby Joiner has been more than a coach—he’s been a mentor, a friend, and family. His unwavering belief in us, his endless encouragement, and his example of living with integrity have made all the difference.

My husband Britton and I will forever be grateful for the Godly example Coach Joiner set for us, shaping our lives and molding us into the individuals we are today. Thank you will never be enough to express our gratitude for all he’s done, but it comes from the deepest part of our hearts.
